Noida Authority recently launched an online portal to register and track complaints. The App named “Noida Citizen Charter App” is flagship project of Noida Authority that makes it easier for residents to lodge a complaint at ease under Citizen charter rules of Noida. You don’t have to go to Noida Authority office to register your complaint.
This portal claims to have 180+ services of 12 departments online. Services as well as Grievances/Complaints can be filed online for these departments. As part of citizen charter NOIDA Authority will deliver the services within time as specified in the citizen charter.
When a citizen files a complaint with Noida using the portal or the app, they will receive an SMS with the complaint number, timeline and officer in charge. App currently has host of services available and some of the important ones are like Residential, Horticulture, Civil Work, Public Health, Water & Sewerage, Parking and Encroachment etc
The Logical Buyer tried this application to get water logging cleared and street light repaired and was impressed with the timely response of the Noida Authority. Although this portal works for small issues are repair, street lights, pothole repairs etc, people managing the failed to tackle complex builder related issues. RTI department is also not functional.
